If google was a guy…..

When I was little, I used to think that the most intelligent person on this planet was my Dad.
He had an answer to every question I had.
During my growing up years, I discovered that Daddy was not always right, most of his answers were reactions to my questions, some of them used to be illogical too.

My childhood spanned an era when computers and technology were not commonly used. The only form of getting correct information was to check with somebody who specialized in that knowledge area. Most of the times, our queries remained unanswered.

We always seemed to get different versions of answers to our questions, and we would end up trying to figure out which of the answers is correct.

When I look back now, I thank our stars for having Google.
It definitely has made life easier. We now have information about anything and everything at our fingertips.

This makes me wonder if its developers – Larry Page and Sergey Brin ever thought that Google would one day become the most used Search Engine on World Wide Web.

Google search uses the algorithm called PageRank to list websites in their search engine results.

The poor search engine, I am sure, gets bombarded with loads of queries every micro second, its users being people from all age groups, all across the Globe.

What if google was a man?

Imagine a smart looking, partially bald, middle aged man sitting across a huge table, surrounded by books, files, documents and information about everything. His visitors include a plethora of people from all walks of life, all age groups and each of them with questions; some weird, some ridiculous, some genuinely intelligent.
Would he go insane responding to all these people? Would he think of ways and means to disappear, or, even better – make the person asking the question disappear ?
